The weekend event will host the traditional small game in the Student Club of Paraná with the presence of eleven players from the lower ranks of the URBA, five of which belong to Delta, recently promoted to second.
the XXVII edition of Seven of the Republic is just around the corner. On Saturday December 4 start to dispute the traditional small game contest in the Student Club of Paraná with the participation of eleven rugby players during the 2010 season played in Groups III and IV of the URBA.
The Union will represent two selected Buenos Aires. One will be composed of players from Groups I and II, including Mariano Dobal, Delta Rugby Club, which in 2010 swept the G IV and then was crowned champion of G III. Along with Dobal (author of drop that gave his team the rise in overtime of the semifinal against Los Cedros) are Thomas and Matthias Arizaga Masera (Belgrano Athletic), Nicolas Facundo Newbery and Vega (Bella Racing Vista), and Nicholas Lucas Alcacer Vago (SIC), Ignacio Klubus (Pucara), José María Melo (Mariano Moreno) and Ignacio Contardi (National Bank). The team will be led by Paul di Nisi.
The other combined-Buenos Aires-development will have greater presence of players down, and be a great team. The invited are Joaquin Fajardo, Monte Grande, Ramiro Dobal, Francisco Pascon, Agustín Mancini, Nicholas and Matthew Devicenzi Alamo, Delta, Mauro Mauro Machi and Magnaghi, Lanús; Diego Ojeda, Sanitation, and Jeremiah Cajide, San Pedro. The DT is Gaston Boniface, head coach of the alligators.
Another interesting fact of this new edition of Seven of the Republic team is also composed entirely of rugby players who in 2010 played in the lower ranks of the URBA, those selected will compete in Cordoba Development, West and Entre Rios. It will also be the first time the tournament will participate in Santa Cruz de Rugby Union. In total 32 teams will play belonging to the 25 Provincial Unions as well as the Selected, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay, Union XV format just stay out of the 2011 World Cup.
The 32 teams will play a key, which the winners will play for the Gold Cup and Silver, while the losers will do it for the Bronze Cup and Encouragement. With this new format, all teams will play at least three matches during the competition.
On the first day of competition, which starts at 10.00, will be played 32 games, belonging to the first two phases of the contest that will be developed in two fields. For its part, Sunday 5 December, the start will be at the same time and the end of the Gold Cup, which will determine the new champion Seven of the Republic, is scheduled for 1930.
Notably, the defending champion, Rosario, will debut in his title defense against Entre Rios Development. Buenos Aires is the ultimate winner in tournament history with 11 victories, followed by Rosario (5), Capital Federal (3), Cuyo (2), while a single title appear Córdoba, North East, Salta, Province of Buenos Aires and Solicitation VII.
